Understanding Disease with Hahnemann
In the Organon and Chronic Diseases, Hahnemann made clear distinctions between various forms of disease. Disease can arise from within or without, individually or collectively, in acute or chronic presentation: individual injuries and traumatizations, collective childhood diseases or influenzas, chronic inherited patterns, or sexually acquired disease, iatrogenic diseases, disease that arises from lifestyle and environment. There are differences in the intensity, dynamics and severity of symptoms, all of which must be taken into account in our homeopathic care for the client. On Day 1, Ewald Stoteler will review and
illustrate Hahnemann’s classification of disease with case examples
showing you how to recognize them and their implications for your
analysis and therapeutic plan selection.
The classification of disease is a crucial skill for every homeopath because it informs and directs our analysis and therapeutic plan for the client. Whether you are a new student or an experienced practitioner, this material can help you. After this day of training, you will see your clients and their symptom patterns differently!
Day 2: April 21
8:30am – 2:30pm ET

Clinical Focus with Our Cases
The second day of the symposium will offer clinical insights based on client cases of the participants. A set of proposed cases will be selected prior to the Symposium, and provided to Ewald in advance. During day 2, he will discuss the cases with the group, and answer related questions. Participants will gain insight into practical implementation of the classifications of disease as well as therapeutic guidance for casework. We will start and end this day earlier to allow for the end of day travel schedules as we all return home.

Join Ewald & NCH: Sparkling Toast to Hahnemann
Ewald will also be presenting at the JAHC on Sunday April 19, on Hahnemann’s approach to epidemics. After the JAHC finishes on Sunday evening, you are cordially invited to join Ewald Stoteler, Karen Allen, the NCH leadership, and your friends and colleagues for a very special sparkling toast at the Hahnemann Memorial.
In our 55 passenger luxury coach we will depart from the Reston Hyatt at 6pm. We will dine on pre-ordered boxed meals during a 45 minute ride, as we learn the history of the area from our tour guide. At the Hahnemann Monument in Washington D.C., we will disembark; as a group, we will offer a sparkling toast toast of thanks to Hahnemann, and also to the leadership of the NCH at the conclusion of their final JAHC conference! A photographer will take pictures of individuals and groups in front of Hahnemann’s statue. (These will be available later for you to download.)
After about 30 minutes onsite at the Hahnemann Memorial, we will begin our sunset tour of Washington DC’s most famous monuments. From the comfort of our coach (complete with convenient bathroom) we’ll see memorials and monuments to Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington and Martin Luther King, and hear about them from our tour guide. Our exact agenda will depend on traffic; we may have time for additional locations. During the return drive to Reston, there will be time to rest and chat with your colleagues. Return set for 9:30pm.
