As practioners we need a full skill set, especially when dealing with viral infections. While homeopathy is a great part of that tool kit, being knowledgable about adjuncts allows us to offer our client a more comprehensively treatment plan

Alex Vasquez, DO, DC, BD, FACN, offers a holistic treatment protocol for combating viral infections that differs from the conventional medical model. Using a multi pronged approach, Dr. Vasquez gives us four areas upon which we can focus our efforts:
1) targeting the virus directly 2) blocking viral replication 3) supporting immune function and 4) supporting cellular and whole-body health.
Karen Allen had the opportunity to meet Alex at the International Congress on Naturopathic Medicine in Paris several years ago where they were both presenting. She was impressed with his research and the thought processes he uses to assimilate information, draw conclusions and create effective and practical treatment plans. Alex has strong opinions and is outspoken in his convictions. He doesn't hesitate to call out Big Pharma for conducting less than rigorous clinincal trials when testing supplements such as vitamin D3 etc. While Alex's strong flavor may not be everyone's cup of tea, his work is compelling, relevant, and worth checking out.

Miranda believes that practitioner development and practice management are the cornerstones of a successful holistic practice. In this series, she assists homeopaths in evaluating their processes in addition to examining their strengths and weaknesses in the consulting room. These observations help practitioners build integrity and self-confidence. There will be assignments for this class that include reading, journaling, and essay writing – all great tools for reflecting on your particular style of practice.

Homeopathy, Physics and Consciousness David Bohm's Implicate Order Doug Brown CCH, FNP Wednesdy, July 14th 1pm (ET) / 10am (PT) 1 hr.
Theoretical physicist, David Bohm, believed that the bizarre behavior of subatomic particles might be caused by unobserved or hidden subquantum particles that pose no conflict with the ordinary idea of causality and reality. Bohm believed that this "hiddeness" may be reflective of a deeper dimension of reality. He coined the term Implicate Order to describe this reality. Within the Implicate Order, everything is connected and in theory, any individual element could reveal information about every other element in the universe. In this session Doug explores how Bohm's Implicate Order may be the theory that scientifically explains how homeopathy "works"!
